Jamel "Loose Joint" Brown
Jamel Brown, better known today as Loose Joint is a 1st generation Hip Hop Freestyle dancer from New York with 30 years experience. He went from dancing on the streets of New York to performing on stage, TV, film, and a primary back up dancer and choreographer for artists. Jamel was always exposed to dance since he was a small child. He used to watch his uncle and relatives dance at family functions in which a young Jamel was also pushed to be apart of the entertainment. In the early 70’s Hip Hop was born, extremely magnetizing and Jamel would forever become connected with the culture when he witnessed the jams in his building courtyard, schoolyards or block parties in Brooklyn and in the Bronx. He loved the way the DJ, MC’s and dancers moved the crowd of partygoers at the Jams.
